📅 Booking & Planning
Q: When should I reach out to book my bridal henna artist?
The moment you have your wedding date and venue locked in, that's your cue to reach out!
I recommend booking 6 to 12 months in advance.
Bridal dates fill up quickly, especially during peak wedding season — the earlier you contact me, the better your chances of securing your date.

Q: How far in advance should I schedule the actual henna application before my wedding day?
I recommend getting your bridal henna done 2 to 3 days (at least 48 hours) before your wedding.
This gives the stain enough time to fully develop and reach its richest, darkest color for your big day.

Q: Do you offer a consultation before I commit?
Yes!
I offer consultations - before you commit (paid) or after you book (free).
Every bridal package includes a complimentary consultation, either in-person or virtually via Zoom.
If we meet in person, I'll also do a small henna sample so you can see the stain on your skin firsthand.
It's a great way to get comfortable with the process before your big day.
 ✍️The Application Experience
Q: How long will the henna application take?
It depends on the coverage and intricacy you choose. I offer 3 packages for hands and 3 for feet.
Depending on the combination you select, the full application can take anywhere from 5 to 8 hours.
Plan for a full, relaxed day — this is your time to be pampered!
Q: What should I have ready on my henna day?
Here's how to set yourself up for the best experience:
  1. wear loose, comfortable clothing you don't mind getting henna on;
  2. have your application done in a quiet, comfortable space AWAY from any event chaos;
  3. avoid scheduling it during a function or gathering;
  4. queue up a series or movies to binge;
  5. and designate a trusted friend or family member to manage your phone, keep you fed and hydrated, and help with restroom trips.
Think of it as a spa day — you're the only one sitting still!

Q: This is my first time getting henna — should I be nervous?
Not at all — I've got you!
Once you've booked, I strongly recommend scheduling an in-person consultation so you can experience the process firsthand before the big day.
From there, I'll walk you through every step.
My goal is to make bridal henna completely stress-free for you.

Q: I have permanent tattoos on my arms or feet — will that be a problem?
Not necessarily!
We can apply henna designs over your existing tattoos or work around them — whichever you prefer.
Just keep in mind that if we go over them, the permanent tattoo will likely show through the henna design.
We'll discuss the best approach during your consultation.

Q: What about spray tanning — can I do that before or after my henna?
Spray tan and henna don't mix well.
I recommend avoiding it altogether if possible.
If you must get one, wait at least 2 days after your henna application — and know that the spray tan will reduce the intensity of your stain.
Plan accordingly so your henna looks its best on your wedding day.
