where do you prefer to setup for events? INDOOR OR OUTDOOR?
Indoors preferred.
We'll need a table (2x4 feet min) and bottled water to activate the paints.
If outdoors, please provide shelter from the elements - sun, wind, rain & cold.
Setting up under a tree is not recommended. Bugs and debris falling into the paints and on the kids can be an issue.

Can you paint according to the party theme?
Absolutely! I recommend having theme based design options along with popular designs.
Do you need advanced notice to practice or do you paint designs on the spot?
I prefer to know in advance so that I can come prepared accordingly.
This makes sure we make maximum use of the face painting time.

Who can get painted? Is there a Age limit - too young or too old to get painted?
Most kids over the age of 3 years enjoy getting face painted. No one is too old to get face painted!!
Younger kids may not be ready and feel intimidated.
Some kids may not want to get painted on their faces. For them we can offer to paint on their arm instead.

How can we prepare for face painting at my event?
Here a few things I suggest:
- Make all parents aware about face painting being offered.
- Check for any restriction regarding face painting - party venues, play areas, inflatables like bouncy houses, etc.
- There is a possibility of paint transfer to other surfaces likes clothes, wall, furniture, etc.
How can we help the face painter do their best at the event?
These are few things that are helpful:
- Have a bright & clear space of 6x6 feet ready with a table & bottled water.
- Have provisions for a heater (55F or below) or a fan (90F and up) for outdoor events.
- Have the kids not crowd the artist or their set-up.
- Only have one child at a time wait for their turn. The rest can enjoy their playtime.
- As early as possible, make sure to provide the final number of kids attending the party.
- Make sure to share the theme of the party. Designs can be prepared accordingly.
- Make aware of any allergy or sensitivity to painting on the face. We could paint on their arm instead (optional).
How do you manage painting outdoors in cold or hot weather?
It's not an ideal situation for face painting -either too cold or too hot & humid conditions.
If it's too cold and/or windy (55°F and below)
The artist may struggle to keep their fingers from freezing which could affect the quality of their work.
Have provisions for a heater.
If it's too hot and/or humid (90°F and up)
The kids may be too sweaty for the face painting.
Even if we manage to paint, it could just slide off with any new sweat.
The artist may struggle with dehydration.
Having a fan would certainly help a lot.
Additionally, have a roll of paper towel handy.
