I am so excited!! I received in my mail, the two practice heads I had ordered last week!
My daughter has her on eye on them. I am PRETTY sure she will try to draw or paint on them...with permanent markers....lol!
She was so awesome when she tagged along at the last event...helping me in everyway a 5 yr old could!

Oh...my!!!
Going through my expenses, I have already spent a massive amount on paints, products and advertising.

Now, it's time for pay back...lol!!

I have inquiries coming in from left and right. Do not wait if you have an event, party, or a fundraiser, corporate event!!

As you age and as you realize your short comings, you learn. If you don't learn from your mistakes, there is no progress.

This is what I learned over the last 3 years and I hope my experiences help any beginners reading this blog!

Once I knew for sure that we were going to move, I did the following three things:
1. Got in touch with any local or near -by artists from new town.
2. Looked up all the Events and Festivals and contacted the organizers.
3. Ordered postcards with promotional offers to be delivered in the area I am moving in.

So far, I have received a very positive response from being proactive!! I think is you are moving to a new place and are a artist, you need to do at least the above three things.

Ok, above part was only for my 'small business'. I have two more important issues to handle.
1. Get a decent job (logistics, Distribution center)
2. Arrange for necessary paperwork needed to back to school.
I wish I could work in my field (Architecture), but the construction industry has been down under for like....forever...UGH!!

Oh yes, in the meanwhile, I subscribed for a one-month of Fabatv.com. You get to watch world class Instructors teach classes. I have learned so much new stuff in just a few days....that I am bursting with ideas. Restless to try all the new techniques and designs.

This is Me and my daughter!

Usually I have a lot to say. Who does not want to talk about themselves, right? Not sure where to begin!
Well...my family is my biggest asset and my top most priority. Everything else comes second.

This is my 11th day in Chattanooga, TN and I am liking it already! I did my first gig on Saturday 2/9 for Junior League of Chattanooga, which was a fundraiser. See some of the pictures below. I enjoyed face painting all the little kiddos there! My daughter came with me and I am proud of her for being such a good helper!!

I accomplished quite a few milestones in the last few weeks. Let's talk about that in my next post! There are three things among many others that are on the top of my to-do list right now. 
1. Job hunting
2. Get more information on going back to School...hopefully in Fall '13
3. Get gigs for my business

Did you notice this does not involve any housework or cooking? lol.
Yes, it's true. I do not like to cook or do housework. I am a really bad Homemaker...:(. I will paint, henna, work on drawings, browse facebook, watch nail-art videos for hours. BUT, I cannot spend more than 1/2 hour on household chores.  I guess, I am just not wired for it!!!
